History and Founders

Motto: patronus medium [protectors of the common good]

Mascot: Malleefowl

The school was founded in 512 by three wizards who had fled Avalon and the rule of Morgan le Fay. After trekking through various lands, the wizards eventually sailed to Australia in search of a remote location where they could hone their skills, and eventually bring Morgan le Fay to justice. They told their tale throughout all the lands they have travelled and their band of three eventually grew to thirteen. Thus, the three founding members began the school with ten eager students. It was not until 545 that the school building as you see it today existed - as it took the labor of many witches and wizards to carve the school out of the rock. During those first years the curriculum was always changing. It wasn't until 1042 that a semblance of the current curriculum was finally established. In 1834 the school sponsored the Professional Quidditch team Uluru Malleefowls.

She became an Animagus turning into a Malleefowl (hence the school mascot).
